Daydreaming helps solve problems

In a recent study conducted at the University of British Columbia, in western Canada, the scientists found out that "default network" inside human brain becomes more active during daydreaming.According to them when the brain wanders it is working even harder to solve problems...Scientists scanned brains of people by MRI(magnetic resonance imaging),and the scans showed that the "default network" deep inside the human brain becomes more active during day dreaming...so the scientists say that this would change the attitude towards day dreamers,and towards ourselves as we become harsh with ourselves when we catch that we are mind wandering...the scientists said that this is the first study to use MRI to study brain activities as uptill now self-reports were used that were not always reliable...
