Microsoft launching its search engine

I was reading an article relating to search engines,there i got this news that Microsoft is now going to launch its search engine "Kumo".Microsoft claims that its search engine will produce more effective and better results than google,yahoo and others, but in my opinion main concern for them is google, they are of the view that there search engine will produce good and useful results than google and people will switch to "Kumo".But in my view its premature to say that,as somedays back same hype was created for WolframAlpha which was not upto expectations, in my opinion it is not easy to compete google as they are adding more and more functionality and they also are coming up with new search techniques.Microsoft would like to form a partnership with Yahoo,so that they both can challenge Google.In my opinion google has done a pretty good job and "Kumo" will be another drop in the ocean..there are alot of search engines today,but in my opinion people get more than adequate information form google and other search engines, it is not a good idea to come up with more and more search engines.. google is the product on which everyone relies and there is very less probability that people are going to switch to another product..
